"The entrance of thy words giveth light (Psalm 119:130)."

One Key to Worry

"And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows (Matthew 10:28-31 NKJV)."

Think about this Scripture carefully. Imagine! Nothing can happen unless God allows it to happen. Despite how things appear, God really is in control of all our circumstances!

And God does care about us: ". . . for the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me (Jesus) and have believed that I came forth from the Father (John 16:27 NASB)."

Recognizing that a God who loves us is in control makes it possible for us stop fretting. If I really believe that God is in control, why do I really need to worry about anything?

Practice believing that your heavenly Father really is in control of everything. And that He really does love you. Get in the habit of remembering these things.

Do this and you will see an immediate, huge and unexpected reduction in the amount of stress that you experience each day.
