Guard Your Mouth"Don’t use foul or abusive language. Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them (Ephesians 4:29 NLT)." Whereever you are in life, there are others around you that are affected by how you talk. These include your co-workers, family, friends—actually everyone. There are certainly people who are much less sensitive than others; but the opposite is true as well! As Christians, we are called upon to build others up, not tear them down. And this applies especially to parents. Yelling at others, sarcasm, derogatory comments, gossip etc. are all sins. These can easily result in spiritual footholds that can cause suffering for years on end. Sometimes for a lifetime. Guard your mouth. It's a command from God. It will improve your relationships. It will prevent unnecessary suffering since we all end up reaping what we sow. And it will make judgement day a whole lot easier.
